Nursing School Scholarship iThemba LABS is a multidisciplinary organization, which operates nationally, where our competence is the provision of scientific and medical radiation is useful for training, research, radiation therapy and radionuclide production.
Examining the phenomenon of radiation-biology by using special radiation sources on site (neutrons, protons and radionuclides)
Supervision of post-degree in radiation biology
-Implement new cellular / molecular methodology required in radiobiological research
-Control of technicians to ensure quality control in bio-monitoring methodology
-Lecture at tertiary institutions
-Interacting with international collaborators

Nursing School Scholarship Minimum Requirements:

• PhD in radiation biology
• Training of Automated Image Analysis of Cyto-genetic application
• Experience in radiation biology research, specializing in molecular methods, and biomonitoring of radiation workers is very important
• Training Principles of Radiation Protection, familiarity with flow cytometric methods in

These Nursing School Scholarships will be valued at €15,000 per annum (which must cover both fees and subsistence). The scholarships are tenable for up to 3 years, although renewal each year is contingent on demonstration of adequate progress.
